2nd in the series of Mayoral Candidate Town Hall Style Meetings for Citizens for Phoenix Members and Friends

If you want to start taking control of your city government instead of being a victim of it, please read the following, and take the action requested:

In the Last Mayoral/Council election only 11% of the city’s voters chose our Mayor and Councilpersons in the odd numbered districts. This is a pathetic turnout in any city, never mind in a city the size of Phoenix.

On behalf of this organization we have challenged each mayoral candidate to hold a town hall style meeting for citizens from around the city to come and ask them questions directly.

This will not be a fundraiser or a fluff meeting. It is you having the chance to come face to face and ask the hard questions on the issues that matter to you.

Below is the information on the second of the four Educational Forums we expect each candidate will hold.

Thursday, April 14th, 2011
6:00pm – 7:00pm

Albright United Methodist Church
2242 E. Campbell Avenue
Phoenix, AZ 85016

Please, plan on attending, and see for yourself who could be running your government for the next 4-8 years. Even if you don’t ask a single question and just listen to others, watching him interact with the crowd, you will have a better basis for voting then you otherwise would have had

Don’t let 11% of the voters – 11% driven to the polls by special interest groups – decide who your mayor will be.

You have to get involved – even if means attending just one of these 4 educational forums to observe and then show up to vote.
